VIBE

This is a personal project intended to practice some photobashing inspired by movies I have watched recently. Specifically 'Sicario' and 'The Thing', they influenced the ideas and references for the piece. I have also been binging a lot of 70s movies such as 'Coffy' and 'Shaft' which would probably explain the aesthetic as well.

The scene is set in one location, a motel room which was based on the motor courts from the 70s. During this period motels wanted to be able to replicate the luxury hotel experience but within a smaller scale, based on actual motels around the Mississippi area, more specifically the abandoned 'Sheraton Motor Inn'.
